Provision for electronic submission via approved University online assessment platform for all taught programmes and removal of references to the award of distinction because this is covered by general regulations. Amend the course name changed to the MSc in Statistical Science which is in line with how the course is advertised for 2016 applicants admitted in 2017. Also to amend references to the related Postgraduate Diploma in Statistical Science. See the MPLS Board notice in the Gazette for further details.

The minor amendment on the use of calculators brings the regulations into alignment with those for the Honour School of Mathematics and Statistics, with which it shares some lecture courses. The amendment on topics for the examination papers reflects changes to the organisation of the subject matter within the course for 2016/2017.
